Composer Kathleen Mayne graduated magna cum laude from the Conservatory of Music at the University of the Pacific.  She studied conducting and composition with Academy Award-winning film composer, Ernest Gold, (Exodus, It’s A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World). Her classical compositions have been played throughout the United States and abroad, both in concert and educational settings. Mayne helped found the acclaimed Monstrous Movie Music CD label, which is dedicated to re-recording film scores of the past. She has restored and re-orchestrated these scores from the original sketches so they could be performed by symphony orchestras and recorded for commercial release. Kathleen has worked on projects for many other soundtrack companies, the estates of film and concert composers, and has provided dramatic underscore for documentaries about classic monster movies for Universal Studios’ DVD series. In addition, Mayne has spent many years teaching piano, voice, recorder, music, and music theory both privately and to schoolchildren K - 12.  Kathleen is responsible for composing and performing the music for Your Imagination Presents.

Writer David Schecter graduated with distinction from The University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Anthropology. He has spent almost 25 years writing for a wide variety of projects, including magazines, newspapers, and toy, book, internet, and greeting card companies. Along with Kathleen Mayne, he founded the Monstrous Movie Music CD label, producing the recordings in addition to writing its renowned liner notes.  He also serves as business and licensing manager for a number of film music composers and their estates. David is responsible for writing the stories and the Creativity Booklet for Your Imagination Presents.

Artist Robert Aragon’s work covers a wide range of projects and styles, including portraits, books, comics, trading cards, CD covers, guitar cases, skateboards, and almost everything in between.  When he steps away from the canvas, the San Diego, California resident enjoys surfing, collecting art and movie memorabilia, playing the piano, and writing children’s books.  Aragon is represented by the prestigious Bridgeman Art Library, and you can view some of his works at www.robertaragon.com.  Robert is responsible for drawing the cover art and Creativity Booklet illustrations for Your Imagination Presents.
